This Sunday we have an excerpt from Deivathin Kural(Voice of God). Let us go for it right now.
Brahma has 3 wives- Sarasvati, Gayatri and Savitri. The outer meter(சந்தஸ்) of the Gayatri Mantra is Gayatri Devi. The inner soul of the Gayatri Mantra is Savitri Devi. Even though they both are related to the Gayatri Mantra, which is the essence of Vedas, they don't have temples. As their husband, Brahma doesn't have a temple, they also don't have a temple for them.
We can also notice that Narada, who seems to be the best devotee of Lord Vishnu, also doesn't have a temple for himself. He was the composer of Bhakti Sutram(பக்தி ஸூத்ரம்). Narada, who is all the time with his Veena(வீணை), singing songs and Nama Kirtana(நாம கீர்த்தனம்) should be having many temples. While his father, Brahma and his 3 wives Sarasvati, Gayatri and Savitri are not having temples, will he have a temple for himself?
There is also one more reason for Narada not having a temple. Daksha had cursed Narada that he won't stay in a place but will be roaming. How could a person who has the curse of roaming stay in a place. How can he stay in a temple?
He seems to be the Guru for Nama Kirtana(நாம கீர்த்தனம்). At the same time, he is the 1st disciple to recieve the Mantra to cross the ocean of Kali Yuga. That Mantra can be said by anyone, anywhere, anytime.
